Fishers of Men kicks off 2013

“We have this amazing ability to magnify what the world thinks and forget what God thinks.”

North Star Church, Acworth pastor Mike Linch challenged the group of 80-90 men gathered at First Baptist this past Friday to not shirk from the challenges in their path, but instead look to them as opportunities to serve and present the Gospel. Joining Linch in talking to the crowd were CFBC members Rich Nagel and Jon England, speaking earlier in giving their testimonies.

“You sit on the cusp of a brand new year,” Linch pointed out. “You get to write a brand new chapter to your story. We have a phrase at North Star: It’s never too late to start doing something right.”
